And to help celebrate the event, Pet Scoop Services of Denver and CreativeXchange Marketing, brought in Joyco to produce a video spot for their website, documenting the big event.
Imagine the Publisher's Clearinghouse prize van pulling up to your house with one of those big checks. Only in our scenario, we drive up in a white pick-up truck with a big gift certificate and surprise the recipient with not only the certificate, but doggie treats. Our winner was mighty surprised and Dorothy's dog Sasha was pleased as well.
Joyco's Director of Photography, Mark Flick, worked closely with Beth Boen from CreativeXchange Marketing (www.creativexchangemarketing.com) to create the spot for Pet Scoop. Pet Scoop owner, Sam Johnson was very pleased with the final result. "We wanted to use the Publisher's Clearinghouse commercials as an example," Mark said. "We assembled the crew from Pet Scoop a block away from Dorothy's house to preserve the element of surprise." "The neighbors must have wondered what was happening as we marched down the middle of the street with all these people and a camera crew," Mark said.
After the shoot, Mark rushed the footage back to the Joyco offices, and with the help of Senior Editor, Tom Hofmeister, turned the raw HD footage into a 2-and-a-half minute spot for local media distribution.
